The Value of the Co-op Program
Cooperative Education is a combined effort between the school and the community to provide the students with a learning experience outside the classroom - the world of work.
Students are placed in work situations as regular employees to do jobs, which complement specific in-school learning experiences. Classroom teaching and practical experience combine to give the student a total learning experience.
The school maintains control of the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the program.
Success
Coop helps the students prepare for success in the workplace. It helps them develop skills that employers are looking for.
